Okay back to earth - well as a kick-off to my blog i'll speak about the obvious topic still lingering in everyones head, The recent FIFA World Cup. I first want to congratulate the South African LOC for making this the best experience ever for all locals & tourists, and a huge thanks to S.A too for being super hosts!
Now... Heading straight from Tshabalala's fantastic WC Opening Goal, the Dramatic exit of France & Italy, the great work of Ghana, and the fabulous talent of Müller and Forlan...we go to the final between the Netherlands & Espanõl.
What an epic game that was!!! Howard Webb the dumb-ass referee at the game, produced a total 14 cards (9 NED, 5 ESP) - 1 resulting in a red card which left Netherlands with 10 players, through the dying minutes of the game.
With Howard being so obsessed with his Yellow cards he failed to notice a mortal combat move which basically left Xabi Alonso breathless...and then he doesn't see a clear corner to the Dutch...
...yet that was not it vain. With the goalkick, ESP immediately moved forward with Iniesta scoring a fantastic goal, with a fabregas assist.
What an amazing win at the last moment, leaving the Dutch distraught...and what do i say?
