Latest News in the Music world is that the WHITE STRIPES have broken up. Being a major fan of this band like since uhh forever! It is with great sadness that i confirm this news.

Displayed above is the Jack remastered and remixed six of
the White Stripes previous releases
into a 3-inch format for release with
the Triple Inchophone. These
included HOTEL YORBA, DEAD
LEAVES AND THE DIRTY GROUND,
FELL IN LOVE WITH A GIRL, 7
NATION ARMY, THE HARDEST
BUTTON TO BUTTON (with alternate
sleeve) and BLUE ORCHID (also with
alternate sleeve). Also produced was
a previously unrleased track called
"TOP SPECIAL" that's only available
in this format in this set.

In a press release by the White Stripes we learn that:

"The White Stripes do not belong to Meg and Jack anymore. The White Stripes belong to you now and you can do with it whatever you want. The beauty of art and music is that it can last forever if people want it to. Thank you for sharing this experience. Your involvement will never be lost on us and we are truly grateful."

"Meg and Jack hope this decision isn ’t met with sorrow by their fans but that it is seen as a positive move done out of respect for the art and music."

But what is good is the fact that some of their unreleased music will now be released in the future.... (lol that sounded wrong..uh who cares)

The band has been together for 13 YEARS and according to my knowledge and some sources i researched there has been no mention of any quarrels and no particular fights like Noel & Liam Gallagher (Oasis fights FTW!!) So this split comes as a huge suprise..

So for one last time, THE WHITE STRIPES...
