American Idiot - Green Day

It is weird how long the weekdays go and weekends simply passes by in a flash! This weekend in Cape Town is lovely, relaxing and shit, but its cool.

There was a particular reason why i actually used this track by Green Day as the Title. If you listened to $avage on 5fm Thursday past you would have been just as shocked as I was. Madness

Apparently, some chinese/japanese dude created this song with the exact backtrack [okay lets be realistic - similar] to American Idiot. You'd laugh and be shocked at the same time to this comparison. Classic i tell you

If you want to hear about more artists jacking eachothers tracks, tune into $avage's show every Thursday 10pm - 12pm on 5fm. [also follow him on his twitter page @cassetteband or facebook - Jon Savage]

Well in other news, the Voting stage for the finalists in the S.A Blog Awards is now Closed. Thank you to all who voted for texxandthecity and to those who didn't, shame on you :[

Also tonight in Idols - they're down to the Top 8 after Bongi's shocking exit. Idols Pre-Recorded show airs tonight at 5:30 pm on M-net. Be sure to tune in. Also select who you think should get the boot, next tuesday in my Idols Poll.

Have a Great Sunday
Peace

The Hellacopters - Rescue

Bang Bang Bang... Ah this song has been in my head the whole day. Weirdness. I hope all of you are well on this lovely day (okay more of a rainy day here in the Mother City haha :p). Todays post deals with last nights Idols should i say, uhh Eviction show??? Well, i also have a special request that i want to make :)

Last night, we were in for some kind of shocker on Idols. I for one did not EXPECT Bongi's exit from Idols last night. His performance was not bad, not too good either but never would i have thought that he would leave

When it was announced that he recieved the least votes and was going home, we, or atleast i thought that he would be saved by the Judges.

But NO this did not happen at all. I was kinda shocked - i dunno why, but i was lol. Gareth Cliff just shrugged during the decison making and Randall still had that evil look as always :p

Bongi looked quite shocked, but according to Idols he was quite Jumpy & Excited at the Press Conference. I guess all i can say to you now Bongi is Goodluck, and all the best for the future :)

And then to my SPECIAL request. Guys i know ive been hassling you lately about this blog awards but i think you should make it your duty to vote for my twibud Tecla!
